She is doing her teacher training in Holistic Maternity Care at the moment with Suzanne Yates.
I first came across Shiatsu as a client in 2008 and experienced its benefits on physical, mental and emotional level soon after. Shiatsu has been a major part of my life since then. In 2010 I decided to study it and throughout the three year long diploma course I left my professional carrier as an economist behind and focused on becoming a full time practitioner.
I worked 16 months as a volunteer for a project providing Shiatsu for people living with HIV during the last two years of my studies. I came across numerous medical conditions and emotional and mental health issues and gained a lot of experience and knowledge throughout this period.
I have a special interest in fertility, maternity and baby care. In order to gain all the specific knowledge to be able to provide the most efficient treatments I completed a postgraduate course in shiatsu for fertility, pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal care with Suzanne Yates and studied baby shiatsu from Karin Kalbantner-Wernike. Both Suzanne and Karin are pioneers and internationally most recognised practitioners of their field.
